Yael recieved a BA/BSc(Hons) from the University of Auckland in New Zealand before moving to the UK in 2018 to complete a PhD in the University of Edinburgh in the group of Prof. Guy C. Lloyd-Jones, FRS. Her PhD research focussed on LED-NMR kinetic and mechanistic studies of photochemical reactions. She joined the Utz group as a postdoc in 2023 where her main research interests include the coupling of flow chemistry and kinetics with developments in NMR spectrsocopy.
